Cyber Security Law is a subset of cyber legal frameworks.
Dr. Pavan Duggal, Chairman, International Commission on Cyber Security Law, Advocate of Supreme Court of India as also internationally renowned authority on cyber security law has defined cyber security as “Cyber security primarily refers to security of networks and the Internet in such a manner so that it continues to be a robust, reliable, secure and as far as possible free from unwarranted and unauthorized interventions.”
Further, according to Dr. Pavan Duggal, Cyber Security Law can be defined as “the new emerging legal discipline within the Cyberlaw umbrella, which deals with all the legal policy and regulatory issues pertaining to cyber security, its protection, preservation, maintenance and continued updation.”
